Q Night at the Movies presents the Ang Lee classic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon starring Chow Yun-Fat, Zhang Ziy and Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians). Before the movie, catch up on your popular media with discussions around Avengers: Infinity War and Westworld. After the film take a trip through parts of China as we explore the Fujian Province and the Shanghai Tower. It all starts at 7 p.m. Saturday on KLRU Q.

On Story at 7 p.m. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, writers of Avengers: Infinity War, discuss juggling a massive ensemble cast and multiple storylines.

On Story Writing in the Past at 7:30 p.m. Westworld writers and producers Bridget Carpenter and Carly Wray talk about research, what to do when the story conflicts with authenticity and crafting a world that mirrors the past.

Feature Film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon at 8 p.m. In 19th century Qing Dynasty China, a warrior (Chow Yun-Fat) gives his sword, Green Destiny, to his lover (Michelle Yeoh) to deliver to safe keeping, but it is stolen, and the chase is on to find it. The search leads to the House of Yu where the story takes on a whole different level.

Xiamen Through Mary's Eyes at 10 p.m. Mary Windishar travels to Xiamen in China's Fujian Province to visit popular tourist sites, including the Nanputuo Temple, Gulangyu Island, and Jimei School Village and to experience Xiamen's food and the arts.
