Celebrating Austin PBS’s 50th Season!

Now the longest-running music program in television history, 2024 marks the 50th season of Austin City Limits. For more information about the 50th Anniversary and the special opportunities around this milestone, please visit the visit the ACL 50th webpage! As part of our Friends of ACL program, you will be able to join with a special group of donors to Austin PBS who share a passion for supporting and experiencing Austin City Limits. As a thank you for their annual donations to Austin PBS, Friends of ACL members are invited to exclusive Austin PBS major donor events, productions and community conversations, including the opportunity to be a part of the television studio audience at tapings for the Austin City Limits television program.

Each new season of Austin City Limits is composed of a well-rounded season of 13 episodes taped throughout the year in downtown Austin, Texas at ACL Live at The Moody Theater. ACL highlights every genre of music and artists with high-profile acts, new up-and-comers and legendary acts. Recent seasons included acts like Foo Fighters, Olivia Rodrigo, Tanya Tucker, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Jorge Drexler, Cimafunk & the Tribe, Adrian Quesada, Maren Morris, MUNA, Lil Yachty, Jon Batiste, Japanese Breakfast, DOMi & JD Beck, Noah Kahan, Brittney Spencer and so many more. Tapings are scheduled throughout the year based on artist availability and announced to Friends of ACL members soon after they are booked.

Support provided through Friends of ACL helps Austin PBS deliver quality public television and services in Central Texas that impact the community through local productions, programming and educational outreach delivered on-air, online and on the ground.
