Congratulations Are in Order
Congratulations to twenty-six area educators, representing Round Rock ISD and one private school, who have successfully completed Teacherline Modules this fall.

Ten educators completed Searching and Researching on the Internet with TeacherLine facilitator Jerry Darr. Each teacher presented a paper on the topic and search mechanisms used to research their topic.

Seven educators completed Count On It!: Number Sense for Grades K-5 with TeacherLine facilitator Janet Palermo. They explored the meaning of number sense and how to assess the type of number sense that students possess. Check out their excellent lesson plans.

Three educators completed Developing Algebraic Thinking in Grades K-2 with TeacherLine facilitator Gayle Evertson. They explored how students identify algebraic principals and considered the uses and misuses of the equal sign.

Three educators completed Developing Algebraic Thinking in Grades 3-5 with TeacherLine facilitator Mary Alice Hatchett. They discussed strategies for bringing out algebra in the classroom and explored the algebraic content in activities they already use. As a final project, they designed problems for a teacher's guide on algebraic thinking.

Three educators completed Shaping Up: Teaching Geometry Using Technology in Grades 3-5 with TeacherLine facilitator Mindy Hensen. Each teacher developed a lesson plan integrating technology into his or her teaching of geometry. Check out their excellent lesson plans and see what a rich learning environment they have created.
