Enhancing Multicultural Education with Technology (K-8) – Locating and utilizing resources is a critical part of effectively unlocking new worlds and providing students with an element of immersion. Educators can use technological tools like the Internet to complement the resources available in their communities. In this course, learners will design a teaching unit utilizing community resources and the Internet to help them advance multicultural studies in their own classrooms.

Using Assessment and Evaluation (K-12) – Learners have the opportunity to explore alternative avenues of assessing student work, as well as methods to align assessment and instruction. This course offers successful formats and tactics to help participants evaluate their students' learning more effectively.

Count On It!: Number Sense (K-5) – This course will explore the meaning of number sense, why it is important for elementary school students, and how we assess the type of number sense that students possess. It will show effective and exciting ways to use technology, manipulatives, and the Internet to teach number sense to students while meeting national educational standards.

Math in Everyday Life (K-5) – By exploring valuable Web resources and considering student use of the calculator, learners will discover exciting and effective ways to enrich their math curriculum to incorporate real-world math into their elementary school classrooms while meeting national educational standards.
