Volunteering at KLRU is a great way to meet new people, have fun and participate in public television. KLRU counts on loyal volunteers to help us answer phones during membership drives, greet guests during special events and assist with other station activities.
Check out the cool ways you can volunteer with KLRU. Be sure to check back here to view and sign up for current activities.
Answering phones during fund drives is a great way to support KLRU, Austin’s PBS! Each night we are live from the studio we enjoy working with groups of 10-15 volunteers. Food is provided, and volunteers enjoy meeting some of our staff, getting an inside peek at the studio, and getting a taste of what it’s like to be on camera. Corporate groups are welcome too.
Throughout the year KLRU produces member events and Kid’s Club parties. We always welcome volunteers who want to help us the day of these events. KLRU events are a great way to help KLRU connect to our community, and is a great way to get a look inside the station and meet other KLRU members.
Check back later for more information and to sign up for events.
