Chuck McDonald

Chuck McDonald is co-founder and co-owner of McDonald Public Relations, Inc., a communications firm that works exclusively on public policy issues in Texas. Most recently McDonald has been affiliated with the State of Texas effort to win the U.S. Department of Energy FutureGen project -- a $1 billion zero emissions power plant and research project. From 1990 to 1994 McDonald worked as a press secretary and spokesman for Governor Ann Richards, including stints in the '90 and '94 campaigns. Prior to that he worked as a newspaper reporter and editor.

Mary Beth Rogers

Mary Beth Rogers is a writer and consultant, a television executive, college professor, government official, and civic leader with almost 30 years experience in public service. She also served as President and CEO of KLRU-TV, the PBS affiliate in Austin. Rogers served as chief of staff for Governor Ann Richards, and was the Deputy Treasurer of Texas from 1983-1988.

Wayne Slater

Wayne Slater is Senior Political Writer for Dallas Morning News, has appeared on numerous network news shows, is co-author of the New York Times best seller, Bush's Brain: How Karl Rove Made George W. Bush Presidential, and has reported on seven sessions of the Texas Legislature and the administrations of Texas Govs. Clements, Richards, Bush and Perry.
