The world's forests are one of the planet's most precious - and perhaps most endangered - resources. They are also home to diverse and exciting wildlife. The journey begins in the Indian jungle of Ranthambhore in search of the Royal Bengal tiger. Along the way, sometimes seen from atop an elephant, there are snakes, peacocks, and crocodiles among the impressive array of creatures. The tigers are discovered as they wander the ruins of an ancient palace, a breathtaking sight. In the misty forests of Borneo and the Amazon, traveling by plane, canoe and "swamp jeeps," we experience the visual spectacle of giant otters, high jumping fish, sloths and jaguars.
