As winter takes hold and flu season begins, the CDC estimates 12,000 to 56,000 Americans die from the flu or complications of it every year, including around 100 children. PBS NewsHour Weekend's Megan Thompson reports on the efforts to step up funding and research to discover a "universal" flu vaccine that could save lives and help prevent another global pandemic.
