Peru - Un-sterilizing Peru's history. More than two hundred thousand Peruvian women and men were sterilized during the government of Alberto Fujimori in the 1990s. He is serving 25 years for human rights crimes and corruption and his daughter Keiko Fujimori just narrowly LOST Peru's presidential elections this month but her party will control the country's Congress just as thousands of forced sterilization victims continue the long wait for justice. For the past 3 years, a Mexican NGO called Reinserta, has been working with these children and their mothers to help improve their living conditions and prepare them for a better future.
