Pirates

In the second episode of Britain's Outlaws, Dr. Sam Willis takes to the high seas in search of the swashbuckling pirates of the golden age of piracy in the early 18th Century. In an age of Empire, when the seas and oceans became trading routes and European settlers spread across the globe, there were rich pickings for pirates.
