Sal Solo and his fellow band mates came to prominence in the 1980's as part of the band "Classix Nouveaux" - often credited with creating the New Wave sound that became synonymous with the early MTV era. Though only a moderate success in the U.S. - they topped the charts across Europe and Asia and headlined for 100's of thousands of fans in Eastern Europe. But at the height of their success, Solo still felt as if something was missing... he found the answer during a pilgrimage to San Damiano, in Italy - where his life and career changed forever.
