KLRU Schedule | Euromaxx Highlights
The New Water Sport - Flyboarding

The UEFA Women's Euro - Winning Ground is the anthem for the event. The singer is Eric Saade, a Swedish pop star who won third place at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. **Soaring like a Superhero - Flying high above the water, several meters in the air, or diving beneath the surface, like a dolphin. Invented in France, flyboarding boasts some spectacular stunts. The first world flyboard championship took place last year. And now, in places like Lake Garda Italy, anyone can get in on the fun. Poetry in Motion - For his latest project, award-winning German multi-media artist and designer Joachim Sauter has teamed up with the Islandic composer Olafur Arnald. "Symphonie Cinetique" at Berlin's Berlin MADE Gallery features Sauter's kinetic scultpures in a choreography that fuses light, sound and motion in space. The Magic Stage - Mozart's Magic Flute is on the program at this summer's Bregenz Festival on Lake Constance. As always, designers have aimed to wow the crowds with their amazing stage set in the lake. Euromaxx reports from the premiere. On His Own - The German bag label Bree has been turning out durable, functional and no-frills designs since the 1970s. As a boy Philipp Bree modelled the classic leather school backpacks made by his father's company. After a stint at the helm, he's left the family firm and launched his own label, PB0110, with the aim of producing some classics of his own.
