Episode nine of New York Originals takes Jamie to a high end personalized stationary shop on the Upper East Side and down to SoHo to visit Let There Be Neon, one of the last craftsmen shops left in SoHo. Then it's time for Neir's Tavern, a Queens bar in existence since the 1850s that served as a location shoot for "Goodfellas" and as a performance venue for Mae West. Jamie also visits two different family businesses: Rubie's Costumes and the St. George Theatre.
