Episode seven of New York Originals takes Jamie to an East Village pastry shop that is over 100 years old and Schmidt's Candy, which still makes its sweets from scratch. Jamie also visits a roast beef sandwich restaurant, a Greenwich Village rock club called The Bitter End, and the City's last "true" beer garden, located in Astoria.
