Featuring unexpected turns and transcendent performances, ROCK PROPHECIES goes behind the ropes and beyond the green rooms to view rock 'n' roll through the eyes of prolific photographer Robert M. Knight. He launched his 40-year career in 1968 with a line-up of now-legendary guitar heroes - Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin - as his first subjects, and went on to capture images of some of the greatest figures in rock 'n' roll history. During the documentary, many of Knight's subjects (also friends) share their thoughts about the photographer in exclusive, illuminating interviews, including Jeff Beck, Slash, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, ZZ Top, Robert Cray, Carlos Santana, Def Leppard and many others. As he overcomes his self-doubt and fights to maintain his relevance, ROCK PROPHECIES tells Knight's story of professional survival and private redemption. Crossing the line of detached photographer, Knight immerses himself in the careers of new artists, actively helping them catch a break in their pursuit of rock stardom.
