Carrie Fisher seemed destined for stardom from the moment she was born-after all, her parents were singer Eddie Fisher and actress Debbie Reynolds. International fame found her at age 21, when she starred in the 1977 blockbuster film "Star Wars." Over the next two decades she appeared in two Star Wars sequels, as well as making appearances in such films as "The Blues Brothers," "Hannah & Her Sisters," and "When Harry Met Sally." She received rave reviews for her debut novel, the semi-autobiographical "Postcards From the Edge," and garnered a Grammy nomination in 2009 for her Spoken Word album "Wishful Drinking"-based on the one-woman play of the same name. Fisher's private life has often been rocky-a well-publicized struggle with drug addiction; divorce from long-time companion, singer Paul Simon; and an ongoing battle with bi-polar disorder. On this episode of InnerVIEWS with Ernie Manouse, our conversation with actress, novelist, and screenwriter, Princess Leia herself, Carrie Fisher.
