The Producers Circle was formed more than two decades ago by a dedicated group of KLRU supporters wanting to ensure that their public television station would be able to produce local programming that reflected the character and interests of the Austin community. Today, Producers Circle members include supporters of all of KLRU's content, from PBS national programming like PBS Kids, Masterpiece Theater, Nature, Nova, PBS Newshour and Frontline to local shows such as Overheard with Evan Smith as well as exclusive online content like KLRU Collective and Next Avenue.
As a Producers Circle member you will network with community leaders as well as:
- Receive invitations to events designed to engage you more deeply with KLRU content such as the Roaring 20s Party special screening of Ken Burns documentary Prohibition.
- Go behind-the-scenes at receptions inspired by KLRU programs/personalities that offer a unique access such as an evening with Jim Lehrer
- Get exclusive updates and sneak peeks at events and programming
- Show your support through a listing on the Donor Recognition Wall in the lobby of KLRU's historic Studio 6A
