PBS series teaches Austin children video production
WHAT:
Postcards from You workshop to teach 8-12 year olds the basics of video production and help them compete in a national competition

No pre-registration is required.
WHERE:
Mathews Elementary School, 906 West Lynn, just past 12th Street
NOTE:
Reporters and photographers must schedule in advance a time to cover this event.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Students will learn the basics of video production and editing including media literacy, storyboarding and how to use the equipment. Students will create a short video feature, which will be screened for parents at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 12. The finished videos will be submitted to the national Postcards From You Film Festival. Select videos will be chosen to air as interstitials on the new season of Arthur airing Spring/Summer 2007.
