Bequest in Your WillMany viewers have provided for KLRU in their wills and, for most of them, it is the largest gift to KLRU they could ever consider. As you review the various deferred gifts discussed on our web site, please keep in mind that one of the simplest ways for you to perpetuate the kind of programming you value so highly is through your will.
You Can Decide
You have choices as to how you name KLRU as a beneficiary in your will. Whichever you select, it is important that your attorney know that bequests should be made to Capital of Texas Public Telecommunications Council, Inc., P.O. Box 7158, Austin, Texas 78713. Our federal tax id number 75-7126012.
Please Let Us Know
If you’re planning to make KLRU one of your beneficiaries, we encourage you to tell us now. We can work with you and your advisors to make sure the bequest is planned and administered properly. It also gives us the opportunity to thank you and to welcome you as a member of the Legacy Society. Requests for anonymity are respected.
Please note that KLRU cannot provide and is not engaged in rendering legal or tax advisory services or advice. For legal and/or tax advice or assistance in specific cases, the services of an attorney or other professional advisor should be obtained before making such a gift and to assist you in preparing your estate documents. KLRU cannot act as executor nor prepare your bequest documents. The purpose of KLRU’s web page on Planned Giving is to provide general information only.
