About the Show
Stories reflecting life in Central Texas shouldn’t only be told from the perspective of a couple of KLRU producers, they should also come from its community - that is to say, from you! There are all kinds of stories that are waiting to be shared. Whether documentary filmmaking is your life-long passion or something that you would like to try, Docubloggers is a great way to show your work and receive viewer feedback. Check out our Submit section to learn the basics of documentary production (something the Docubloggers staff paid a lot of money to learn in school), and also be sure to read carefully through the video submission section in order to submit your story.
The show and website are still in development and we will continue to refine both during our first season. Producers will be updating the blog as they work on stories.
You can preview some of the Docubloggers upcoming features in our Episodes section.

About the Producers
Domenique Bellavia
Domenique Bellavia - otherwise known as Dom - is an Emmy nominated producer who has been devoted to PBS since 1998. She started out as an audio grip trekking the Sonoran Desert with camera crews for a nightly news magazine that served the Tucson, AZ, PBS station. Now at KLRU since 2002, she’s produced a wide variety of stories for the Austin area. Most recently, she’s been traveling to discover and unveil what Austin’s neighboring towns are up to. Her current goal is to reach out to individuals and communities to share and produce their own stories as well.
Sean Cunningham
Sean Cunningham counts painter Bob Ross and master carpenter Norm Abram as two of the greatest influences of his youth, so it’s no wonder he works for a PBS station now (and considers it an honor). Sean started at KLRU as an intern while still in college, and never left. He’s done a little of everything from running camera to editing to transcribing, but has found his niche in producing. Sean’s ardor is for the documentary, and more specifically, the documentary that can inform, inspire, and impassion the public. His aim is to utilize the Docubloggers platform to connect KLRU’s audience together in a way that has never before been achieved by television.
