I met a guy named Will through my friend Poncho. I knew Will worked at a pizza shop but he never really talked to me about it. Then one day he told me that his arrangement with the pizza shop is to work for cheap pizzas instead of money, and then he’d sell his pizzas at bars and such to turn a profit. I thought this was an interesting way to make a living, so I made a short film about it. It’s also interesting to note that since this short doc has been completed, Will no longer works at the pizza shop (Milano Pizza). The owner’s abolished their ‘work-for-pizzas’ program.
