• Fertilize fall bloomers and give them a light trim if you can provide water. If the heat and drought continue, be cautious.
• Water your plants deeply. Water your trees.
• It's bound to get cooler soon, so be planning your fall vegetable beds, new bulbs, and trees and perennials you want to add this fall.
• Remember the wildlife! Give them water and food. Set out old fruit, shallow bowls of water, keep bird baths filled.
