• Plant trees, shrubs, perennials and roses.
• Select yaupon and other hollies now since they may be bearing fruit. Females produce berries.
• Move plants to establish them before hot weather arrives.
• Dig those weeds! Herbicides won't help you and in large areas will harm your other plants. It's faster to dig them while the soil is moist. Much better to get out and pluck.
• Provide food and water for birds.
