Why aren't my fall blooming plants blooming?

Copper canyon daisies, Salvia regla, and Mexican mint marigold are among the fall blooming perennials that respond to shortening day length. Actually, they are triggered to bloom when they get more nighttime hours. So, if you have a security light or a streetlight that continually illuminates them, that is interfering with their need for a longer period of darkness.
