Silver Leaf Ponyfoot (Dichondra argentea)

Silver leaf ponyfoot is a beautiful ever-silver creeping groundcover that gleams in the night and enhances colors and textures around it during the day. It looks fabulous paired with limestone or other stonework.

It's also super in a container. Let it cascade over a tall pot for a dramatic accent in your perennial beds, at an entrance, or on a patio.

It doesn't need much water, but it does require well-drained soil.

Grow it in sun or filtered sun. It will appreciate a little shade in the afternoon. This plant spreads by runners, so if some runners get trampled, the mother plant will continue to spread.

It's an excellent choice to replace lawn in areas that don't have heavy foot traffic.
