Crossvine Tangerine Beauty (Bignonia capreolata)

This evergreen vine is native to Texas and the Southeastern U.S. ‘Tangerine Beauty’ is a specific variety that puts on a fabulous spring show followed by sporadic flowering the rest of the year. Hummingbirds appreciate it, too.

It’s a vigorous vine for sun to part shade and is well adapted to our soils and climate. Crossvine is a good choice if you want to quickly cover a fence or post. Like all vines, it may take a few years to get going, but after that, if left unchecked, it will climb up your trees or any structure that supports it!
