Plant melons, winter squash, eggplant, okra
Fertilize vegetables and container plants. By continuing to provide small amounts of fertilizer, you can keep them healthy, blooming, and really looking good.
In the landscape, when you water, remember that a deep soaking is the best way to do it. A thorough soaking promotes good deep rooting. You want to give the plant the water it needs but then let it dry out a bit to avoid drowning it.
Add that mulch. It helps fight weeds, which steal water, and it also helps protect the soil.
