  • Sneak in some more cool weather crops like broccoli, carrots, carrots, lettuce or onion sets.
  • Move trees, shrubs and roses that need a new spot.
  • Cut back browned woody plants that have gone dormant.
  • Plant trees, shrubs, roses, and hardy perennials.
  • Prepare your soil for summer crops like tomatoes and peppers.
  • Start tomato seeds indoors or in a greenhouse.
  • Get on weed patrol! Recent rains germinated them. It's easier to tackle them now to keep control.
