They seem to like certain areas. Mine always show up but I don’t get clusters like some people do.
Hang a feeder (out of direct sunlight) and see what happens. I meant to give the formula last night: 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds to dissolve. Let cool or hurry along with an ice cube and fill the feeder. Keep an eye on it. In this heat, it will need to cleaned out every 2 days or so. You can store your extra sugar water in the refrigerator if you like.

I saw you on the PBS telethon tonight–during a break in the show about hummingbirds.
On the show you said that you’ve not seen hummingbirds yet in your garden (not this year).
I have been trying to attract them for a while now and nothing! Any advice for me?
