<strong>The 3rd Annual WordGirl Definition Competition is fast approaching!</strong></p>
<p>Inspired by the educational objectives of WordGirl&#8217;s TV show, the Definition Competition aims to enrich students&#8217; vocabulary in a fun and interactive way. During the 30-minute live webcast, students will play along with three rounds &#8211; and a bonus round &#8211; of game-show-type questions, testing their knowledge of words, usage, and reading comprehension.</p>
<p>Classes have been registering throughout the month, and there has been a great turnout. Make sure to <a href="http://www.scholastic.com/wordgirldefinitioncompetition">tune in live</a> on Tuesday, May 1, at 1pm Eastern, noon Central, 10am Pacific, to cheer on the live players and see if a school from your district takes home a prize!</p>
