A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of taking folks who donated during our June pledge drive on a tour of some great wineries and vineyards in the hill country. Inspired by the Wine Roads of Texas series on KLRU, we toured (and tasted!) Duchman Family Winery, Becker Vineyards, and Solara Estate Winery.

We were lucky to have some expert wine folks on the bus with us including Wes Marshall, author of the travel book Wine Roads of Texas; Alphonse Dotson, owner of Certenberg Vineyards; Ron Yates, owner or Spicewood Vineyards; and Jay Knepp from Salt Lick Cellars.
