7:30 – Just Seen It
We review three very different movies – the new comedy Identity Thief, starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, Sylvester Stallone’s new action thriller in Bullet To The Head, and the documentary about Shin Bet, Israel’s clandestine security agency – The Gatekeepers.

8:00 – Bedazzled
A short-order cook (Dudley Moore) with a crush on a waitress (Eleanor Bron) makes a deal with the devil (Peter Cook). Cast: Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Eleanor Bron.

9:46 – Smothered: The Censorship Struggles of the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour
Examines the turmoil that surrounded the late-1960s variety show, including the events that led to its cancellation. With a young and brash stable of writers and performers, including Steve Martin and Rob Reiner, The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour brought an edgy new brand of political comedy to the airwaves for three seasons. When they were fired in 1969, brothers Tom and Dick Smothers took on their network, CBS, in the courts for a landmark lawsuit. . .and won. This is the fascinating true story as told by its key players, including the Smothers Brothers, show writers Rob Reiner and Mason William, performers Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, and Harry Belafonte, and former CBS executives.

Shot over 11 years by renowned fashion photographer Steven Sebring, this documentary is an intimate portrait of the legendary rocker, poet and artist. Shot in lush, dark tones, featuring rare performance clips and narrated by the artist herself, “Patti Smith: Dream of Life” is an impressionistic journal of a multi-faceted artist that underscores her unique place in American culture.

JUST SEEN IT is the review show where film school graduates and working entertainment professionals review the newest in theaters, on TV and cable as well as offer industry interviews. We review Stand Up Guys, Starring Al Pacino, Christoper Walken and Alan Arkin, Based on the novel by Jack Kerouac – On The Road, and from Oscar-Winning Director Kathryn Bigelow – Zero Dark Thirty.

10:00pm – Vietnam War Stories
Three million Americans served in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Most veterans are reluctant to speak of war experiences, but Vietnam veterans have been even more reluctant because of the controversy surrounding their war and the often hostile reception on their return. They put away their uniforms and tried to put away their memories, but these are memories that cannot be put away. “Vietnam War Stories” shares these personal memories of service and sacrifice, and gives us insight into the experience of war.

The secretary of Defense (Gene Hackman) forces a Pentagon naval aide (Kevin Costner) to lead a manhunt for a Soviet spy during a murder cover-up. Cast: Kevin Costner, Gene Hackman, Sean Young.

10:00pm – Rockin’ The Wall
This program presents the history of the Berlin Wall through the experiences of well-know rock musicians and those who lived behind the wall. Among the rock musicians featured are Robby Krieger (The Doors), Mark Stein and Vinny Martell (Vanilla Fudge), Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot), David Paich (Toto), Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets), and the group Mother’s Finest who played in East Berlin just weeks before the Wall fell.

11:00pm – How The Beatles Rocked the Kremlin
This is the unknown story of how the Beatles inspired a revolution that helped to destroy the communist system. Leslie Woodhead first met the Beatles in 1962 when he worked on a film in the Liverpool Cavern Club before the world had heard of the Fab Four. Twenty-five years later, when Woodhead began to make films in the Soviet Union, he became aware of how the Beatles legend had soaked into the lives of a generation of Soviet kids — even though they were barred from playing “Back in the USSR.” Now he has been on a journey to meet the Soviet Beatles generation and to discover how the Fab Four changed their lives. Featuring a bizarre collection of Beatles tribute bands, the film tracks down the stories of how the Cold War was won with music as much as with nuclear missiles.

9:45pm – Oregon Wine: Grapes of Place
In the 1960s a new breed of pioneers began arriving in Oregon’s Willamette Valley determined to grow Vitis vinifera, the fine wine grapes of Europe. They were told it couldn’t be done and were amply warned that western Oregon was too cold and wet for vinifera to flourish. But they came anyway with a dream of producing premium wines – in particular, Pino Noir – made from the delicate red grape of Burgundy, France. The pioneers’ risky experiment created a new industry in Oregon and changed the world of wine forever.

10:45pm – Chesapeake Wine Country
Few phrases have quite as much allure for the would-be traveler as “Wine Country”. Two words which summon up images of sunny vineyards, cavernous barrel rooms, informal yet artful hospitality, and above all select hand-crafted wines waiting to be tasted. 8:00pm – Masterpiece Mystery! Presents: Poirot X: Murder On The Orient Express
David Suchet (Henry VIII, The Way We Live Now) stars as suave Belgian super sleuth Hercule Poirot in this mystery based on the novels by Agatha Christie. Whether he’s on holiday abroad, taking a countryside break or simply going about his business near his central London home, Poirot finds himself exercising his “little grey cells” by helping police investigate crimes and murders, whether they ask for his help or not. Securing a last-minute ticket on the Orient Express from Istanbul to London, Poirot finds himself amongst a host of eclectic fellow passengers. When the train becomes caught in a snowdrift and a passenger is found brutally murdered mid-voyage, the famous Belgian detective is called upon to investigate the crime and find the culprit. Dame Eileen Atkins (Cranford), Hugh Bonneville (Miss Austen Regrets) and David Morrissey (Sense and Sensibility) guest star.
