KLRU NEXT Night: Going Batty on 7/27

Head down to the water at the beautiful Waller Creek Boathouse on Thursday, July 27th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. to learn about the bats that help make Austin so unique.

Fly like a bat, explore a cave and more with Samsung’s exciting VR Gear. Then glide over and snap a photo with the Galaxy S8! Show off your best pose at our bat wing wall, and craft some batty accessories to take home. Enjoy beer, wine and tequila cocktails from Twin Liquors.

Did you know bats are prolific pollinators? Grab a popsicle from GoodPop, made of watermelon and agave, two ingredients we can thank bats for!

Then it’s time to fly – at the end of the night, head down to the dock for the best view in town to watch the 1.5 million bats take flight!

Cost for this event is $15 and all proceeds benefit KLRU. Get your tickets today!

This NEXT Night is made possible by ABC Home & Commercial Services.
