Sarah was introduced to roller derby by a veteran skater whom she met while working at a restaurant on Sixth Street. At that time, she was also struggling with drug addiction. With the support of her derby teammates, Sarah overcame her addiction and has become one of the most popular skaters in the league (with some of the most die-hard fans).
