180 DAYS: A YEAR INSIDE AN AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL

180 Days takes viewers on a uniquely intimate journey through a year in the lives of students, teachers and school leaders in one Washington, DC public high school. The series is framed by volatile national and local politics aimed at reforming this most fundamental of public institutions, but the lives at the center of “180 Days,” most especially those of the five students whose stories take the viewer from the day 1 to day 180, seem at once deeply impacted by and yet profoundly separate from the “Race to the Top.”

Monday, March 25 at 8 pm, Episode 1
Tuesday, March 26 at 8 pm, Episode 2

Shalom Sesame: It’s Passover Grover!

It is spring on Rechov Sumsum and Grover is excited to celebrate Passover at his first Seder, or Passover meal. As Shoshana, Avigail, Anneliese and Grover get ready for the Seder, Shoshana realizes she has no maror (bitter herbs) for the Seder plate, and stores have already closed! The gang visits their friends to try and findmaror to begin the Seder.

It’s Passover, Grover! showcases the Passover story, holiday preparations, and Hebrew words and phrases related to Passover. In the episode, viewers meet families whose holiday traditions originate in Ethiopia and Morocco, providing a glimpse into the diversity of the Jewish people.
