May 7 Celebrate Mom
Prepare for Mother’s Day with the Create pros. Chefs Eric Ripert and Daisy Martinez recreate their mom’s favorite recipes. Katie Brown shows us how to create a personalized Mother’s Day gift.  Tune in and celebrate Mom with lots of love.

May 14 East Coast Swing
Tour the east coast with leisure specialists including Burt Wolf, P. Allen Smith and chef John Shields. From Maine to Pennsylvania and all points in between, we’ll see the sites and taste the foods of this popular region. Explore the beauty and charm of the east coast with a clambake in Maine, a taste of salt water taffy in Atlantic City and a tour of the rich history in Boston.

May 21  Street Fare
Follow some of your favorite chefs, such as, Daisy Martinez and Tommy Tang to popular street markets around the U.S. and beyond. They’ll teach you how to choose the freshest ingredients possible, including vegetables, seafood and spices. Then go home and whip up delicious recipes for your family’s table.

May 28 Red, White and Barbecue
If you grill it, they will come, with forks, knives and a big appetite. Fear not as expert grill master, Steven Raichlen, will show you how to cook the perfect steak and prepare ribs so succulent that it will make your mouth water. Just make sure you have plenty of napkins on hand to wipe up all the barbecue sauce.  Fire up the grill and enjoy the first cookout of the season!

April 2                       April in Paris
Spend a day discovering Paris.  As soon as you touchdown in Paris take a stroll with world travelers Burt Wolf and Rick Steves seeing the sites.  If sampling the cuisine is your preference, Jacques Pépin, Hubert Keller and Chris Kimball have put together some amazing recipes that will turn your kitchen into a Parisian bistro.

April 9                 Sugar and Spice
Sugar and spice, that’s what good food is made of.  Tune in to watch chefs Daisy Martinez, Ming Tsai, Rick Bayless and Maryanne Esposito as they create dishes that are sweet, fiery or both!  There will be a flavor for every taste bud to enjoy.

April 16                The Joys of Spring
Let Burt Wolf, P. Allen Smith, Joanne Weir and Katie Brown show you the joys of spring.  We will celebrate this season of rebirth with beautiful blooms and tasty spring time meals.  Continue to experience the joys of spring as you gather with loved ones to enjoy Easter and Passover festivities.

April 23               It’s Not Easy Being Green
In recognition of Earth Day, this eco-friendly marathon will show us how trees beautify our surroundings.  Prepare green leafy vegetables and build garden structures that are beneficial to the earth.  Premiere gardener P. Allen Smith, chef Christina Pirello and others will show you how to go green.

April 30                Wonders of the World
Adventure is the order of the day!  Go globe trekking with Darley Newman, Rick Steves, Joseph Rosendo and Rudy Maxa in search of the amazing wonders of the world.  You will be mesmerized by Victoria Falls in Zambia, climbing the Great Wall of China, and  observing the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.  You will certainly be wowed by these natural and man made wonders of the world.

March 5                Let the Good Times Roll
In honor of the biggest party on the bayou, “Laissez Les Bons Temps Roule” – Let the Good Times Roll!  We’re celebrating Mardi Gras, with chefs Steve Raichlen, John Folse, Paul Prudhomme and John Shields.  They will be preparing the finest seafood and Cajun dishes just in time for Fat Tuesday!

March 12                Top O’ the Morning
Today everyone is Irish and we are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.  Rick Steves, Rudy Maxa and Burt Wolf are your Emerald Isle tour guides.  Even Irish folksinger, Tommy Makem, gets in on the exploration; visiting churches, pubs and castles in Ireland.  Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

March 19               Spring is in the Air
The weather is getting warmer and everything is emerging from winter’s deep freeze.  Whether you celebrate Passover or Easter, Burt Wolf will be in the mix of the festivities.  P. Allen Smith has flowers, flowers and more flowers to usher in spring.  Join Katie Brown as she prepares an unforgettable spring brunch.  Spring has sprung!

March 26               California Dreamin’
This trip to the West Coast, is a dream come true!  Hop a trolley in San Francisco and sip wine in Napa with Burt Wolf.  Joseph Rosendo takes us far from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, to other parts of Los Angeles for an unexpected good time.  Venture off to the beautiful island of Catalina with Doug McConnell.  Eureka, it’s California!

February 5 Big Game Snack Attack
With Superbowl Sunday just one day away, you’d better plan a giant “snack attack” for your fellow sports fans. Whether its burgers, chicken wings, or bratwurst that are your favorites; Steven Raichlen, John Shields and Katie Brown will provide inspiration for a fun-filled afternoon with friends and family. Chef Hubert Keller demonstrates that beer isn’t just for drinking, with his recipe for beer battered onion rings. We may not know who will win the big game, but we do know that your menu will be filled with tasty treats!

February 12 Be My Valentine
This marathon is dedicated to the “LOVE” holiday – Valentine’s Day! Romance your honey with a special dinner and chocolate dessert just for two. Give a simple red rose or travel to the most romantic city in the world, Paris, to sip champagne. Our CREATE cupids, Katie Brown, Julia Child and Burt Wolf will show you how to make February 14th an unforgettable day!

February 19 African Roots
Come with world travelers, Rick Steves’, Art Wolfe, and Joseph Rosendo to the vast continent of Africa. From the northern countries to the most southern tip, and everything in between, you’ll be on a fantastic voyage! You’ll scale to the top of the pyramids in Egypt, go wine tasting in South Africa and on safari in Kenya. Then go into the kitchen with Chef John Folse and cultural expert Burt Wolf to learn about the African influences in American recipes. African roots stretch far and wide!

February 26 Island Hoppin’
Today’s programming will spark the imagination to flights of fancy — to exotic island locations around the world. On today’s television journey, the CREATE viewer will travel to the islands of Maui, Hawaii, Oahu and Kaua, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands, New Zealand, Fiji and Guam. What a relaxing – and possibly inspiring — Saturday!

The old adage states,”it is better to give, than to receive”. With the holiday season approaching quickly take notes from our gift specialist Katie Brown. Do a little shopping with world travelers Burt Wolf and Rudy Maxa, they will take you to the finest holiday markets and the shopping Mecca of the world. Next, we will be celebrating the Festival of Lights. Chris Fennimore and Todd English will give you the full flavor of the holiday.

December 11 Tourist for a Day
Grab your passport and be a Tourist for a Day! Travel to some of the world’s most popular tourist destinations in Africa, Europe and North America. Join world trekkers Rick Steves, Burt Wolf and Rudy Maxa as they visit superstructures, wondrous destinations and ancient works of art.

December 18 Joy to the World
Join us as we celebrate Christmas and Kwanzaa with help from some of our favorite Create friends. With traditions of the holidays provided by travel expert and cultural historian Burt Wolf, and holiday recipes from Lidia Bastianich, Katie Brown and Chris Fennimore, you’ll be celebrating the season with warmth and good cheer. Even some Christmas snow will be provided by painter Bob Ross, for holiday “atmosphere.”

December 25 Countdown to the New Year
Throw your own New Year’s Eve bash and invite everyone you know! You’ll get tips on hosting a terrific party with great entertaining menus from the kitchens of Daisy Martinez, Christina Pierello and Hubert Keller There will be decorating ideas from Katie Brown and Rudy Maxa will be supplying champagne from France to ring in the New Year with style! Raise your glass of bubbly and toast to 2011!

November 13: A Brief History of Food (with Burt Wolf)
There is little about our favorite subject that is unknown to food and cultural historian Burt Wolf. Today on Create, as he travels through the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Asia and the U.S., Wolf tells us the stories of chocolate, wine, sugar, chili peppers, livestock, cheese, coffee, corn, the potato, the tomato….and beyond. So tune in to Create, and get “the 411″ on food from the past to the present and around the world!

November 20: Turkey Time
It’s that time of year again … Turkey time! The family is coming over
for a feast, and you’ll be ready with the help of master chefs, Julia Child and Jacques Pepin. Style experts Katie Brown and Christy Rost will be here offering tips to bring a festive look to your dinner table. This Thanksgiving dinner, with all the bells and whistles, will be talked about for years to come!

November 27: Around the World in a Day
The fearless Globe Trekker team is at it again! Ian Wright, Justine Shapiro, and Megan McCormick will keep the pages in your passport filled as we go continent hopping – from Africa to Asia and then Central America. Ancient cultures and the human spirit are all yours to experience and treasure when you go globe trekking!
