Wednesday at 10 p.m., revel in the best performances from the 2015 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards ceremony on Austin City Limits Presents: Americana Music Festival. Featured artists include Don Henley, Lucinda Williams, Robert Randolph, Buffy Sainte-Marie and the Mavericks.

It was 50 years ago, in 1965, when Arlo Guthrie took out the trash following a Thanksgiving dinner that “couldn’t be beat”. It started a chain of events including Arlo’s arrest for littering, court appearance, and rejection from military service depicted in his hilarious and iconic song, Alice’s Restaurant. In Alice’s Restaurant 50th Anniversary Concert, Thursday at 7 p.m., Arlo deftly performs the song for the first time in over a decade.

On The Daytripper Blanco, Tx, – Thursday at 8:30 p.m. – Chet heads to the “Lavender Capital,” harvesting it from the field and drinking it in lemonade. He explores the historic courthouse used in the movie “True Grit” and a buggy museum that’s supplied Hollywood with all its western needs for years.

Thursday at 9 p.m., Chet explores the east side of Texas’s capital city exploring its food trucks, a modern butcher shop, and a house museum that “Keeps Austin Weird” on The Daytripper East Austin, Tx.

On The Daytripper Rockport-fulton, Tx, Chet joins the “snowbirds” and heads to the Texas coast in the winter time to see some of the only remaining wild whooping cranes. He indulges in the coast’s amazing oysters and seafood then visits “Stinky Beach” and sees one of the largest and oldest live oak trees in Texas. Thursday at 9:30 p.m.

Friday at 8 p.m., Andrea Bocelli pays musical tribute to the silver screen in a lush concert of beloved songs from the movies on Great Performances Andrea Bocelli: Cinema. Joined by Grammy- winning producer David Foster , the renowned tenor performs memorable favorites.

Narrated by the late Ossie Davis, Trans-siberian Orchestra: Ghosts of Christmas Eve is a fantasy trip through the magic of Christmas. A runaway little girl decides to return to her family after she enters a rundown theater for shelter and encounters an old caretaker (Davis), who guides her on her journey. Friday at 10 p.m.

Enjoy the 2015 Austin City Limits 2015 Hall of Fame Special Saturday at 7 p.m., as Loretta Lynn, Asleep at the Wheel, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt and Flaco Jimenez are honored by Lyle Lovett, Dwight Yoakam, Vince Gill, Gillian Welch, Jason Isbell and more.
