Hendrik Hertzberg is Senior Editor and Staff Writer at The New Yorker. He served as speechwriter for President Jimmy Carter and then as editor and political correspondent for The New Republic. He’s a six-time finalist for the National Magazine Award for Columns and Commentary. He won the award in 2006. David Axelrod at 3:45pm on 2/25 RSVP Now

David Axelrod is a political strategist and former Senior Advisor to President Obama. He ran both of President Obama’s campaigns in 2008 and 2012. In addition to his successful presidential campaigns with President Obama, he’s worked for a number of other big names in Democratic politics – Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Deval Patrick, and Rahm Emanuel, just to name a few. His memoir, Believer: My Forty Years in Politics, has just been published. He is in Austin to speak and sign copies at the LBJ Presidential Library. David Axelrod at 3:45pm on 2/25 RSVP Now
