A baby elephant orphan named Aisha was rescued by a woman who developed a bond with Aisha just like mother and daughter. When the foster mother goes away for a wedding, Aisha is struck as abandoned and refuses to eat. My Wild Affair tells the heartbreaking story of The Elephant Who Found a Mom at 7 p.m. on KLRU’s Science Night.

A break from elephant programming is next at 8 with NOVA traveling back 4 billion years to discover the Earth’s earliest life in one of the planet’s most enchanting lands, Australia.
