Austin’s Julie Hildebrand Selected As A Lead 2014 PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovator

The wait is over! KLRU-TV is pleased to announce that, after a nationwide search, Julie Hildebrand of Austin has been selected as one of the top 16 “Lead PBS Digital Innovators” as part of the Class of 2014 PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovators.

As a Lead PBS Digital Innovator, Julie Hildebrand will work with a group of like-minded peers to develop strategies for delivering best practices in digital education that can be immediately applied to classrooms. They will serve as thought leaders within the larger group of 100 PBS LearningMedia Digital Innovators in paving the way in innovation and creative thinking over the course of the 2014-2015 school year by empowering their peers and sharing strategies around digital media integration; serving as PBS LearningMedia ambassadors that embraces life-long learning, collaboration, inclusion, and innovation; and making up a robust professional learning community that will foster new ways of thinking, while leading the way in digital media in the classroom. They will also receive exclusive professional development from PBS LearningMedia, including virtual training and resources that they will be able to bring home to their school and incorporate into curriculum, and attend the PBS LearningMedia Digital Summit this summer at PBS Headquarters in Washington, D.C.!
