aimee_photoAimee Mann began her career as the leader of the 80’s new wave pop group ‘Til Tuesday. After three albums with the group she embarked on a solo career and released her solo album Whatever in 1993. In early 2000, Mann’s was nominated for an Academy Award for her song “Save Me,” which appeared on the soundtrack from the film Magnolia. She has also served as a judge for the Independent Music Awards. Recently, Mann appeared in a memorable cameo on the IFC series Portlandia. Her most recent album Charmer was released in 2012. While in Austin, Mann is performing at the Paramount.
