3/9 – Top Hat
At 9 pm, Dale Tremont (Ginger Rogers) is attracted to dancer (Fred Astaire) but in a case of mistaken identity believes he is her best friend’s husband. Cast: Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Edward Everett Horton, Lucille Ball.

3/16 – Who Is Harry Nilsson (And Why Is Everybody Talkin’ About Him?)
At 7:30 pm, this is a documentary with that wonderful haunting Nilsson music throughout, including his performance of Everybody’s Talking About Me from the film Midnight Cowboy. His story is told here in a tightly edited hour allowing for a much longer version to be available on the DVD. Jimmy Webb, who knew Nilsson, joined us in the pledge breaks.

At 8 pm, Charles Lindbergh (James Stewart) attempts to become the first man to fly nonstop across the Atlantic to Paris in 1927. Cast: James Stewart, Patricia Smith, Murray Hamilton.

3/30 – Eight Men Out
At 8 pm, disgruntled Chicago White Sox players stand trial for allegedly throwing the 1919 World Series for mobster Arnold Rothstein. Cast: John Cusack, Clifton James, Michael Lerner.
