KLRU-Q’s Saturday Night at the Movies presents a full-length feature film every Saturday night, plus extra content that gives the evening an exciting spin. Each film explores the work of legendary actors and actresses through many important films from their careers. Here is a peek of what this Saturday has in store:

7:30 – Just Seen It
Check out our top entertainment picks of 2012! And we look at two foreign films – Tabu- the black and white drama from Portugal, and the French language Amour, nominated for an Academy award for best picture in 2012.

7:59 – Just Seen It
Its time for our Oscar special – we discuss who we think SHOULD win and who we think WILL win for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor and Actress.

8:30 – Two For The Road
Trips across Europe show changes in a couple’s (Audrey Hepburn, Albert Finney) first 10 years of marriage. Cast: Audrey Hepburn, Albert Finney, Eleanor Bron.

Audrey Hepburn was one of movies’ best-loved stars, blessed with beauty, talent, an elegant sophistication, and an enduring aura of youthful innocence.  Hosted by Roger Moore, the program features remembrances from Billy Wilder, Blake Edwards, Stanley Donen, Henry Mancini, Gregory Peck, Mel Ferrer, George Peppard, fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy and others.
