Newt Gingrich talks about how the recent election results will shape the country — and how things may have been different if he’d been the Republican Party’s presidential nominee. The former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives has been called “the indispensable leader” by The Washington Times and Time magazine named him Man of the Year in 1995, saying, “Leaders make things possible. Exceptional leaders make them inevitable. Newt Gingrich belongs in the category of exceptional.” Gingrich is the author of 23 books, including thirteen New York Times bestsellers. His newest historical fiction novel, Victory at Yorktown, was released earlier this month and is the third novel in his George Washington series.
