Please join KLRU’s Overheard with Evan Smith for an interview with Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley
Governor O’Malley was elected to a second term two years ago, with 56% of the vote. He’s a Democrat who served as mayor of Baltimore before running for Governor. And his administration claims a broad mix of successes: job creation, a top-ranked public school system, moves to keep tuition affordable at public colleges and universities, lower crime, environmental protections for the Chesapeake Bay and affordable taxes. It’s a record that has many people asking if O’Malley will run for President in 2016. Join us to learn more about what O’Malley is doing in Maryland, and what the future might bring.
We hope you’ll be there as Overheard with Evan Smith begins a third season of great conversation with fascinating people, always on the news and always with a sense of humor.
