KLRU donated 300 books to Mendez Elementary School in San Marcos, TX for their “Fall in Love with Reading Night” on February 2nd.  Clifford visited the school to deliver the donated books and to promote reading for their students.  The students were excited to have Clifford join them as they celebrated the school’s 2nd Annual Community Heroes Reading Day and Fall in Love with Reading Night. Volunteer readers visited the school through out the day reading to classrooms and the students and their families enjoyed literacy activities that evening.
