Just saw the interview yesterday on a visit to Canada on Lake Erie, where we can pick up Toledo PBS. It made me realize what we are missing with two PBS stations available in the Detroit area (from Detroit and Ann Arbor). I love Andy Borowitch and have subscribed to his blog for almost a year. I couldn't live without him. But in describing his book (which I have intended to get for 6 months) I got to view his keen ability for analysis of comedy's effect on its greatest resource, politics. I've always wanted to write comedy, and this interview inspired me to both, get his book and to begin my comedic novel, or at least essay. Thank you Evan Smith and Andy.
