Nature at 7 p.m. Sunday explores the diversity of wildlife and habitats of the Himalayas starring the mysterious snow leopard.

“Simon Schama’s Rough Crossings” at 9 p.m. Tuesday chronicles the abolition of slavery from the plantations of Georgia through the Revolutionary War to Nova Scotia, Canada.

Haunted Texas: Peyton Colony at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday gives half hour visual exploration into the history of Peyton Colony, Texas in the Texas Hill Country that traces back the mysterious nature of certain events occurring today to the possibility of spirits remaining behind.

Nova ScienceNow at 7 p.m. Wednesday explores the possibilities affiliated with the question: Where did we come from?

Nova at 8 p.m. Wednesday provides a forensic view of crucial events seen from all angles to pieces together the events leading up to what really happened on Flight 447 that disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean without a trace.

Nova at 9 p.m. Wednesday investigates the collision of two Boeing 747 airliners on the runway at a tiny airport in the Canary Islands and pieces together the clues that led to a fatal take-off.
