Overheard tapings 1/12

KLRU’s Overheard with Evan Smith will have two tapings on January 12. First up is Author Lawrence Wright followed by Historian Douglas Brinkley. Tapings take place in KLRU’s Studio 6A (map).

Please join Evan Smith and Pulitzer-winning author Lawrence Wright for a taping of our new series, Overheard with Evan Smith. Wright has built successful careers as an author, playwright, screenwriter and journalist, tackling an astonishing range of subjects for a huge range of media. He’s probably best known for giving us a window into Al-Qaeda through The Looming Tower, followed by his one-man play based on his research for that book and an HBO documentary about that journey.
