He doesn’t get much out of it except entertainment, and learns nothing at all from the show. There isn’t enough emphasis on the usefulness and importance of arithmetic and logical thinking within the show. As a show, Cyberchase is not so bad. As a learning tool, there is much to be desired.

The online game component was a large part of the “Summer Challenge.” CYBERCHASE has won many awards, one of which is the Parent Choice award for 2005, 2008 and 2009 along with many research studies. In fact, the whole series is flawed and askew in concept.

On Friday, 7-30, a new episode did NOT appear. Instead we got a stupid episode called “Escape from Merlin’s Maze” which I saw before.

No new episodes appear to be schelduled, before 12-23. It is now August. You will excuse me if I drop this show until 12-23.
